We will solve addiction when we don’t solve for addiction.
My Writing
Writing is a process of thinking. Any problem and possible solution needs to be expressed. Writing remains a key mechanism for engaging in the contours and context of any issue. I also find writing to be a means for solace and escape — whether for personal or professional reasons.
My writing here is an all over the place. That is partly due to my deep interest in many topics. That wide interest explains why I believe indirect “solutions” can and will have the greatest impact on addiction in the U.S. I care about addiction because it has had a profound affect on my life. It’s a condition that does not have to exist — we choose to let it exist. Provocative, I know, but spend some time with my writing and you’ll see what I mean.
A good starting place for understanding how I use writing to process, read this piece on why I (finally) quite Facebook.
